We were part of the Unity Support Riders group that stayed there recently, superb place to stay, hoping we get to go back there next year for our group event. Amanda and Dan, you have an amazing place.
We rented Chateau d'Hallines for a birthday weekend for my husband. I looked at so many Chateaux to find the perfect place for 24 friends and Chateau d'Hallines just stood out as a special place and we were not disappointed… We all said we would love to come back again.
Spent a lovely weekend in the Big Chateau in early March. The chateau has been meticulously restored and the rooms have all been tastefully decorated. Can't recommend it highly enough for a retreat in France that's so close to London. Will definitely go back again.
The owners were so helpful in the run-up to our arrival and all our expectations were exceeded as we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, fantastic amenities and the pleasure of authentic French cooking from recommended caterers… We look forward to returning!!
We had an amazing time. The children particularly enjoyed the trampoline room and exploring the gardens. The chateau is a perfect set-up for a group like ours. I'm sure I will be rebooking.
I came across this chateau whilst planning a hen do for my friend and immediately thought 'this is the venue'! Amanda was really helpful throughout the booking… Everyone was truly blown away with the chateau and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hen was very happy.
We visited for one week in August, 21 people, four families with ages ranging from two months to (ahem) 68 years old. We had an amazing chef's dinner one night, otherwise eating al fresco from the barbecue… I can't speak highly enough of the chateau and recommend to anyone.
The location is so convenient. Loads of activities such as tennis, table tennis and trampolining. Beautiful house and every room is gorgeous. Really perfect place!

Amanda recommended a food service from VincenTraiteur of Lumbres. This service provided 3-course evening meals of fine French cuisine cooked offsite and delivered to the kitchen. It was remarkable value at €15 per head per meal and can be thoroughly recommended.
